Anti-virus capabilities

SMI! is the only one solution at the world using 4 different layers of anti-virus and 9 different natively integrated anti-virus engines provided by different vendors. Anti-spam techniques

SMI! uses deterministic only techniques to filter spam. Our focus is to never tag proper mail as a spam. False positive may be much more expensive to company than deletion few more messages. To fulfil this requirement we remove all heuristic methods from SMI!

The most important element of our anti-spam functionality is patented solution based on statically analysis of more than 100 mln mailboxes in real-time. Beside this we use SPF, DNS, RBL, SURBL, and other techniques.

SMTPGuard™ Technology

Proprietary Software

There are a lot of really good open source software designed to protect e-mail communication. We appreciate it. Unfortunately if you use such software you have no guarantee when an error will be repaired, who is responsible for error and who will repair it. Sometimes open source projects became commercial and you have to pay for it. Sometimes such projects are broken and you have to migrate for other solution.

There are also a lot of our competitors who just collect couple of open source and/or free components in package and try to sell it as new software. This is not fair.

Our software has been especially designed and it has been written from the beginning as new designed especially to protect e-mail traffic software. Free Granulation Policy

In majority our services and software are based on policy configuration. Unusual feature of our solution is that you can make policy with free granulation. It means that you can set parameters for example: for all company, for department, for specific e-mail address, for couple of users, for servers, and you have many more possibilities.

User Interface

We try to create very easy to use and very nice to look user interface. Almost all parameters you can change via web interface using your favourite browser. We always support Internet Explorer and Firefox but Opera and other can be also used. The UI is intuitive and use modern techniques like AJAX which do not requires reload of whole page.
